Is it really free to post an ad?

Yes, it's 100% free to post and reply to ads on Te-Lists.

We can be completely free for users because advertisements and features (such as Featured Ads) help us pay our bills.

How do I post an ad?

You can post a free ad at anytime by simply clicking the 'Post an Ad' link at the top of any page. This will guide you through our simple posting process.

How can I make changes to my ad?

If you are a registered Te-Lists user, sign in, click 'My Te-Lists' then click 'My Ads'. Click the 'Edit' link next to the Ad you would like to change.

How do I delete my ad?

If you are a registered Te-Lists user, sign in, click 'My Te-Lists' then click 'My Ads'. Click the 'Delete' link next to the Ad you would like to remove.

What is a featured ad?

Featured ads are Te-Lists ads that have been upgraded and highlighted to also appear at the top of a category listing page for 1 month. More people read and reply to these Ads because of their prominent position on the first page of a category over a long time period.

How do I place a featured ad?

To place a featured ad simply check the option 'Featured Ad' when you post your ad. The system will guide you through the payment process. Your ad will be 'Featured' as soon as you Paypal payment is successfully processed.

How many ads can I post?

You can post unlimited ads for free. The only condition is that you cannot post duplicate ads. If you want to post the same ad in different state you should change the ad text and title or wait few hours before posting the exact same ad again.

How can I include images in my ad?

On the ad post page you should see a section called 'Images' (right below the description box) where you can upload up to 5 pictures that will be shown on your Ad.

If you have problems uploading pictures, please try the following:

Ensure the pictures are in GIF, JPEG, PJPEG or BMP format
Turn off any anti-virus or firewall software
Make sure you're using the latest version of your web browser

When will my ad expire?

Ads on Te-Lists.com will remain active for 4 months from the date of post(120 days). You can delete or edit your ad anytime. Just sign in to your account and click 'My Te-Lists' then click 'My Ads'.

Who will see my ad?

If you post your ad in a particular city, the ad will be visible to everyone browsing the city level, the state level and the country level.

How do I respond to an ad?

To respond to an ad, simply click on the 'Reply to Ad' link. Then you can type your email address and message, and click the 'Send' button. Our system will send your message to the author of the ad.

How do I receive messages?

If someone responds to your ad through the 'Reply to Ad' link, our system will send the message to your email address.

How do I create account?

Go to our Register page and enter your First Name, Last Name, Email address and the password you created.

How do I log in to my account?

Go to our 'Sign In' page and enter your Email address and password, check the 'I agree with Terms of use' then click 'Register'. You will recieve a confirmation email on the email address you entred. You need to follow the instructions on the email to activate your account.

How do I change my password?

To change your password, please sign in and go to the 'My Te-Lists' page. Next, locate the 'My Profile' section, then enter your current password and a new password. Click 'Update' button. The next time you log in, you will need to use the updated password. Please remember that passwords are case sensitive, so make sure that your caps lock is not on.

I can't remember my password.

Go to our Sign In page and click 'Forgot your password?' link to have your password emailed to you.

What is not allowed on Te-Lists?

The list below details what can't be posted on Te-Lists:

Baby Walkers
Blood, Bodily Fluids and Body Parts
Burglary Tools
Counterfeit currency, stamps or coins
Counterfeit Products
Electronic Surveillance Equipment designed or used primarily to illegally intercept/record the private actions or interactions of others without their knowledge or permission
Embargoed Goods
Government and Transit Uniforms, IDs and Licenses
Illegal Drugs & Drug Paraphernalia
Illegal Services
Hazardous Materials
Fireworks, Destructive Devices and Explosives
Identity Documents, Personal Financial Records & Personal Information (in any form, including mailing lists)
Items which encourage or facilitate illegal activity (such as mod chips or modding services)
Lottery Tickets, Sweepstakes Entries and Slot Machines
Massage services
New merchandise or services from network marketing companies, independent franchisees or distributors, or similar representatives
Obscene Material and Child Pornography
Offensive Material
Pesticides
Pictures or images that contain nudity

Prostitution or ads that offer sex, sexual favours or sexual actions in exchange for money
